rhIL-2 treatment induced greater levels of systemic inflammatory cytokines in mice than ALKS 4230. Serum cytokine production was assayed in female C57BL/6 mice treated SC daily for 4 days with either rhIL-2 (20 µg, 50 µg, and 75 µg) or ALKS 4230 (8 µg, 20 µg, and 30 µg) at 2, 4, 6, and 24 hours post-dose on Day 1 and Day 4 (n=4 animals per time point).
