ANAC017 regulates mitochondrial stress responses. WT, rao2-1 and nac017-1 seedlings were grown on half-strength MS medium. Seedlings were sprayed with: (a) 50 µM antimycin A (AA), (b) 25 µg ml⁻¹ doxycycline (Dox) or (c) 50 µM MitoBloCK-6 (MB) and left for 4 and 12 h under white light. Gene expression was determined by qRT-PCR and is relative to untreated WT (0 h) (n = 3).
