C. auris cells were incubated under biofilm forming conditions with different concentrations of farnesol (500–0.48 mM) at time interval (pre-incubation, 4h, 12h, and 24h). Pre-incubation of C. auris cells with farnesol and treatment of C. auris biofilm formed after 4h, 12h and 24h of incubation with farnesol. MTT reduction assay was used for quantification. Two-way ANOVA was used to study statistical significance (***P < 0.001).
