(A, B) A transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) prior to chemotherapy revealed mitral annular calcification (MAC) (arrow). There were not any apparent tumorous lesions on the mitral valve or other sites. (C, D) A TTE approximately 31 months after MPB therapy and prior to treatment with lenalidomide, dexamethasone and darbepoetin alfa showed MAC (arrow).
