Table 5.

Multivariate analyses for predicting CKD progression

Variable Odds ratio (95% CI) p value
Urine TIMP-2/IGFBP7 2.274 (1.021–5.056) 0.044
Discharge IGFBP7 1.111 (1.011–1.237) 0.045

In the multivariate analysis model, a backward (LR) selection approach was adopted. Other parameters (age, sex, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, severity of acute kidney injury, urine neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin/creatinine [Cr], urine kidney injury molecule 1 [KIM-1]/Cr) except urine TIMP-2/IGFBP7, discharge IGFBP7, were not displayed.

Discharge IGFBP7, IGFBP7 levels at the time of discharge.

CKD, chronic kidney disease; CI, conf idence interval; TIMP-2, tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase-2; IGFBP7, insulin-like growth factor-binding protein 7.
