Restoration of the Bcl-2 level abrogates the impact of RUSC1-AS1 knockdown on the malignant phenotype of cervical cancer cells. (a) Bcl-2 protein expression was confirmed in the pCMV-Bcl-2–transfected or pCMV-transfected HeLa and SiHa cells by western blotting. (b–e) Si-RUSC1-AS1 was cotransfected with either pCMV-Bcl-2 or pCMV into HeLa and SiHa cells. Measurement of proliferation, apoptosis, migration, and invasiveness of the above-mentioned cells was performed by the CCK-8 assay, flow-cytometric analysis, and migration and invasion assays, respectively. *P < 0.05 and **P < 0.01.
