The BMAL1:CLOCK (Aryl Hydrocarbon Receptor Nuclear Translocator Like (AHRNTL aka BMAL):(Circadian Locomotor Output Cycles Protein Kaput)) heterodimer regulates multiple genes involved in fatty acid oxidation (A), lipogenesis, and lipolysis (B).
