Effect of minoxidil on HGSC ovarian tumor development. (A) Representative mice with tumor burdens (red circle) treated with vehicle alone (Control) or with minoxidil (10 mg/kg). OVCAR8 cells were injected intraperitoneally into 12 female NSG mice (7 weeks old). Mice were separated randomly in two groups of six mice each. Two weeks after cell implant, one group of six mice was injected (IP; twice/wk) with 100 µl vehicle alone (DMSO) or minoxidil. White arrows indicate the presence of tumors.
