Vaccines for HPV in adults: Recommendations
Vaccine for HPV is available as a recombinant protein capsid liquid vaccine. A three-dose schedule (at 0, 1-2 months, and 6 months) is recommended for individuals aged 15-45 years. The quadrivalent vaccine is administered at 0, 2, and 6 months, and the bivalent vaccine is administered at 0, 1, and 6 months. A usual dose of 0.5 mL is administered intramuscularly in the deltoid muscle of the upper arm.[53]
