The circles represent the occurrence of enzymes (domains) classified in the respective GH families in the CAZy database (http://www.cazy.org). The extracellular and intracellular enzymes are shown by solid and open circles, respectively. Protein localization was predicted by signalP-5.0 (http://www.cbs.dtu.dk/services/SignalP/) and TMHMM Server v. 2.0 (http://www.cbs.dtu.dk/services/TMHMM/). The pseudogenes that encode incomplete protein sequences are excluded from the analysis. The GHs that are (possibly) involved in the degradation of HMOs and mucin O-glycans are colored in red.
