(B) PLK2 expression in cells following transfection with three different siRNAs or NC (siRNA-NC) at 80 nM and subsequent infection with aMPV/C. (C) Apoptosis was detected by annexin V-fluorescein isothiocyanate and PI staining by flow cytometry. aMPV/C infection induced apoptosis, which was reversed by PLK2 knockdown. The cells were treated as described above. Quantification displayed with graphs representing the target protein/β-actin band ratios. Error bars: means ± SDs of three independent tests.
