Asymmetric color matches (circles and triangles) to the same set of test stimuli (squares) after adaptation to chromatic modulations along different axes within the LvsM and SvsLM plane. The adaptation leads to selective losses in perceived contrast (saturation) along the adapting axis, and biases perceived hues away from the adapt axis and toward an orthogonal axis (after [39]).
