Metformin inhibits the proliferative ability of colon cancer in vitro. A CCK-8 cellular viability assays were conducted to test the antigrowth effects of metformin on the SW480 and SW620 cells in vitro. The results showed that MET exerts anticancer effects on colon cancer cells in vitro both dose-dependently (A and B) and time-dependently (C and D).
