hCMEC/D3 monolayers remain viable after nanoparticle transport. Flow‐conditioned hCMEC/D3 monolayers show no appreciable difference in metabolic activity or cell death after 2 hr of flow with (a) media, (b) nonfluorescent 100 nm PS spheres, (c) nonfluorescent 200 nm PS spheres, and (d) nonfluorescent 500 nm PS spheres.
