Measurement of von Willebrand factor (vWF) expression. Immunofluorescence shows that the expression of vWF increases in multidrug-resistance transporter 2/ABC transporter B family member 2 knock out (Mdr2^−/−) mice treated with mismatch and surrounds large bile ducts [marked by cytokeratin (CK)-19 stained green] compared with wild-type (WT) groups. In Mdr2−/− mice treated with histamine-2 receptor (H2HR) vivo-morpholino, there is a decrease in vWF expression. No differences are seen between WT groups.
