Blood feeding and species-specific distribution of gut microbes: Time-dependent relative abundance of (A) Elizabethkingia (p ≤ 0.001); (B) Pseudomonas (p ≤ 0.0005); and (C) Serratia (p ≤ 0.0001); in the blood-fed mosquitoes gut. The gut tissue was collected at different time intervals of 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, and 48 h post-blood-feeding.
