Survival of Tribolium castaneum adults fed a gypsum diet supplemented with soy flour. Each beetle was fed a gypsum diet supplemented with either wheat flour, water (control), or soy flour. The effects of the supplements on the lifespan of T. castaneum adults were assessed using the survival rate of female adult beetles. Statistical significance was determined using the log-rank (Mantel–Cox) test (**** p < 0.0001) and the Gehan–Breslow–Wilcoxon test. Each statistical value is shown in Supplemental data.
