An Y2H analysis used full length SASPase 28 as bait to screen more than 123 million clones in a random primed human reconstructed skin library. 26 out of 29 positive clones detected represented sequences from filaggrin 2 (Q5D862) with a PBS score class A and a SID domain between amino acids 2 and 213 in the N terminal domain of filaggrin 2.
