Comparison of MSI results for colorectal cancers with 3 assay panels

The MSI status classifications of tumor samples scored by the ProDx® MSI, the MSI 1.2, or the NCI panel. Samples were classified as MSI-H(green) when two or more markers were unstable, as MSI-L (yellow) when only one marker was unstable, and MSS when there was no any unstable marker. IHC staining scores were also listed in the right. The MSS samples by all panels and with intact MMR staining were not shown. “+” indicates MSI marker stable or MMR-IHC staining proficient (pMMR) ; “−” indicates MSI marker unstable or IHC staining deficient (dMMR).
