Table 1.

Summary of regions and time lags where the absolute correlation between seasonal wind speed and SST/GPH850 is larger than 0.3 with p-values less than 0.05.

1 and 2 in SST and GPH850 are the index.

The temporal lags between the study site wind speed and SST/GPH850 are presented in the square brackets. Negative values indicate the months in which SST/GPH850 is ahead of the study site wind speed time series. The blank cells indicate that no SST/GPH850 region with spatially coherent and temporally persistent correlation to seasonal study site wind speed was identified.
