Differences in c-fos+ cell counts between the Vehicle-SPS and Vehicle-Sham groups in selected regions of the cerebral cortex, the bed nucleus of the stria terminalis, the amygdala, the thalamus, the hypothalamus, the hindbrain and the midbrain are shown. *q < 0.05, **q < 0.01, ***q < 0.001. The c-fos expression was analyzed 60 min after the end of the SPS protocol.
