Individuals with Down Syndrome Overexpress IFN Receptors

Box and whisker plots displaying mRNA expression for the type I IFNRs encoded on chromosome 21, IFNAR1 and IFNAR2. Data are presented in reads per kilobase of transcripts per million (RPKM) mapped reads. Data were generated via RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) transcriptome analysis as described by Araya et al.,²⁰ Sullivan et al.,⁴⁶ and Powers et al.⁴⁷ p values were calculated with the Student’s t test. All of the boxplots show median, 25^th, and 75^th percentile values. Error bars are 1.5 times the interquartile range (IQR) or the maximum data point if <1.5 IQR.
