TGF-β1-induced CREB1 promotes the transcription of miR-1290. (A) A luciferase reporter vector with the miR-1290 promoter was constructed and co-transfected into 293 cells with pcDNA3.1/CREB1. Luciferase activity was determined in the presence or absence of TGF-β1. (B) CREB1 overexpression was achieved in A549 cells by transfection of the CREB1 overexpression vector (CREB1 OE), as confirmed by RT-qPCR. (C) miR-1290 expression was determined in CREB1-overexpressing A549 cells by RT-qPCR.
