Metformin delays oxaliplatin-induced neurite degeneration in vitro. (A) Embryonic dorsal root ganglia explants were treated with oxaliplatin alone (10 μM), metformin alone (10 mM), or both together for 3 days. Immunostaining against acetylated tubulin (AcTub) was used to reveal the neurite cytoskeleton. Scale bar, 20 μm.
