Both SCR and CCP are alternative names of the sushi domain. CFH is a well-characterised regulator of the complement cascade that is found on the surface of human cells and prevents complement attack on self [68,69]. The human CFH (PDB entry 3GAW) contains sushi/ccp domain repeats (Fig 5C) involved in regulating complement cascade. Smp_182770 does not contain the sushi/ccp domain repeats but it does encode tandem repeats similar to those expected from mammalian CFH genes [70].
