Component positions are ±5 cm⁻¹. During the computation, their widths were kept between 15 and 25 cm⁻¹. The figures correspond to the normalized areas of the components expressed in percent of the whole amide I profile. Fractional areas estimate the global secondary structures with an accuracy of ±5% (22).
