CLEC-2-evoked calcium signaling in platelets. Continuous flow cytometry analysis of highly diluted platelet suspension (1 × 103 plt/mL) revealed that CLEC-2 agonist fucoidan-induced calcium response is independent of the presence of MRS2179 (A) while being gradually dependent on the concentration of mβCD (B). Single-cell analysis using TIRF microscopy revealed that platelets are capable of spreading on fucoidan-covered glass (C) and that immobilized fucoidan is capable of evoking calcium oscillations in platelets (D).
