Workflow of data acquisition and data analysis for real‐time functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), offline fMRI analyses, and intraoperative mapping. The observer monitored quality control results and determined whether a scan needed to be repeated (with optimized parameters). Real‐time resting‐state and task‐based fMRI maps were compared with the corresponding offline maps in terms of true‐ and false‐positive correlations.
