NF-κB-selective inhibitor PDTC suppressed chronic visceral pain in NMD rats. (a) Single injection of PDTC (800 ng/kg and 8000 ng/kg) into the ARC area significantly attenuated chronic visceral pain sensitivity of NMD rats (n=5 for each group, *p<0.05, ***p<0.001, two-way ANOVA). (b) Compared with the DMSO group at the same time period, continuous injection of 800 ng/kg PDTC into ARC area for seven consecutive days remarkably attenuated the chronic visceral pain of adult NMD rats (n=6 for each group, ***p<0.001, two-way ANOVA).
