Comparison of [11C]PBR binding in patients and healthy volunteers shows increased binding in patients both ipsilateral and contralateral to the seizure focus. For healthy volunteers, “ipsilateral” was left. The regions were selected in advance as being most likely to contain seizure foci across a disparate group.
