^aEnzymatic-inhibition assays were performed in duplicate on one 96-well plate, and the same assay was repeated on three independent plates. The IC₅₀ was defined as the concentration at which 50% of DprE1 enzymatic activity was inhibited. The IC₅₀ and corresponding 95% confidence intervals were determined using 4-parameter logistic regression analysis.
