(A) Immunostaining analysis of E13.5 control embryonic sections with anti-BrdU and –Ki-67 antibodies. Enlarged images of the boxed areas are shown at the middle and right. For BrdU labeling, timed mating was carried out, and BrdU was injected intraperitoneally into E13.5 pregnant mice. After 1 hour, the mice were euthanized for embryo retrieval, genotyping, section preparation, and subsequent immunostaining with the antibodies.
