Juvenile hormone (JH) regulation of the endoreplication. JH-Met/Tai ligand-receptor complex directly activates the expressions of cell cycle genes including minichromosome maintenance proteins 4 and 7 (Mcm4 and 7), cell division cycle 6 (Cdc6), cyclin-dependent kinase 6 (Cdk6), and adenovirus E2 factor-1 (E2f1) to regulate endoreplication and cell polyploidy.
