In order to limit amplicon spread and contamination, sealed reaction tubes are placed in detection cartridges (Ustar, http://www.bioustar.com/en/about.aspx). User closes the cartridge and pulls the handle to release reaction onto a lateral flow strip. A mobile phone application can be used for quantitating the band intensity and determining the test result.
