The reactivities of VLPs or pentamer mutants against various mAbs were quantified as EC₅₀ values (bottom panels), and their corresponding rEC₅₀ values (defined as 1/(EC₅₀ [chVLPs, pentamers or other VLPs]/EC₅₀ [HPV16 or HPV52 VLPs]) were shown in the upper panels. A larger rEC₅₀ value indicates a higher reactivity for chVLPs against mAbs in test with respect to WT VLPs. The EC₅₀ value was obtained from the mean value of two repeated data.
