(B) The catalytic activity of TVD–Fab and DVD–Fab was measured by retro-aldol digestion of methodol to a fluorescent aldehyde (RFU, relative fluorescent units). (C) The TVD–Fab was analyzed by SDS-PAGE under non-reducing (NR; approximately 100 kDa) and reducing conditions (R; approximately 50 kDa) followed by Coomassie blue staining.
