Effect of quercetin on recognition and spatial memory in AFB1 mice. Group I (control); Group II (veh + control); Group III (quercetin-only); Group IV (AFB1); Group V (afb1 + quercetin). Novel object recognition (NOR) and Morris water maze (MWM) tests were evaluated. (A) Exploration time in seconds; (B) escape latency; (C) frequency in the platform quadrant/min. Quercetin treatment was able to increase the exploration time for novel object recognition compared to the AFB1 group (A); to increase the time to finding the platform (B); as well as the frequency time around and within the target quadrant of the platform (C), compared to controls.
