Antegrade axoplasmic flow in the optic nerve head at 8 weeks after streptozotocin injection. In the diabetes group, some antegrade axoplasmic flow was blocked in the lamina region (arrow) compared to that in the normal control group. The overall expression of cholera toxin subunit B was lower in the diabetes group than the control group (n = 5 per group).
