The first value in columns 2 and 3 is the number of cases within each group which scored negative for CK13 or positive for CK17 expression. The value between brackets is the total number of scored cases within each group. A Fisher’s exact test was performed to assess difference in CK13 and CK17 expression between dysplastic and non-dysplastic lesions (*p = 0.024, **p = 0.002). CK13 keratin 13, CK17 keratin 17
