Increased herbicidal activity of the P(KEf) NPs obtained by surface conjugation with increasing concentrations of DA. Tests were performed with leaves of one week-old lettuce plants, treated once with proteinoid NPs: (a) untreated, (b) P(KEf) NPs, (c) 1% DA-conjugated NPs and (d) 10% DA-conjugated proteinoid NPs.
