This shows the glutathione binding site with cyGSTX1 which belongs to the Y group. The active site for GSH binding involves beta strand 1, 2 and 3. Tyr 5 is found in the beta strand 1 and binds with the SH group of GSH. The active site was observed in the S and C type GST which is mentioned in Figure 5.
