Figure 9

BNCT of tumor-bearing mice with 10B-enriched compounds. (a) Mice body weight after thermal neutron irradiation. (b) Tumor growth ratio after 1-h epithermal neutron irradiation (1.8–4.0 × 1012 neutrons/cm2) after the injection of 10B-MMT1242 at 24 h and 10B-BPA at 2 h before irradiation with irradiation-only and untreated groups as controls. Comparisons by t-test for no-treatment and irradiation-only groups, and comparisons by Tukey-Kramer multiple comparison tests for irradiation-only, BPA, 10B-MMT1242 (89 mg/kg), and 10B-MMT1242 (250 mg/kg) groups were performed using mice 26 days after irradiation.
