(A and B) Neuro-2a cells were treated with various inhibitors in the presence (A) and absence (B) of pre-formed Aβ₄₂ fibrils (50 µM). Cells treated with both Aβ₄₂ and inhibitors were examined at a 1 : 2 molar ratio (Aβ₄₂ : inhibitor). Cells were incubated for 24 h and cell viability was measured upon addition of MTT (0.5 mg/ml).
