Apelin expression in the adult mouse kidney. Immunofluorescence staining of apelin in the mouse kidney was performed. To validate the specificity of the labeling of renal apelin in mice, the competition with the immunizing peptide in the consecutive sections from the same tissue samples was performed, and the consecutive sections were stained with ELABELA (ELA) antibody preincubated with or without its immunizing peptides.
