Biological properties of cmvIL10 in dendritic cells (lytic infection). On the left hand side cmvIL10 secreted by infected iDC or by bystander infected cells binds to the cIL10 receptor in iDCs inducing STAT3 phosphorylation and downstream signaling. Green vertical arrows indicate molecules up or downregulated upon signaling and red point to pathways induced or inhibited by cmvIL10.
