Biological properties of cmvIL10 in myeloid progenitors (during lytic infection). cmvIL10 secreted by bystander infected cells binds to the cIL10 receptor in myeloid progenitors inducing phosphorylation of STAT3 on Tyr 705. cmvIL10 also activates the PI3K pathway leading to phosphorylation of STAT3 on S727.
