Notes: (A) KKU-100 cells were treated with varlitinib, BKM-120, or varlitinib combined with BKM-120 at the indicated concentrations for 72 hrs after which cell proliferation was measured by SRB assay. (B and C) KKU-100 cells were exposed to varlitinib alone or varlitinib combined with BKM-120 at the indicated concentrations for 72 hrs after which cell apoptosis was assessed using the Annexin-V-FLUOS staining kit and flow cytometry. (D) Molecular analysis of varlitinib combined with BKM-120 in KKU-100 cells was identified by Western blot. (E) The expression level of p-EGFR, p-HER2, p-Akt after normalized with total form and β-actin. Data in (A, C and E) are represented as mean ± SD of three independent experiments.
