Silicon enhanced the toxicity of chlorpyrifos to Chilo suppressalis larvae. Newly molted 3rd‐instar larvae were fed on artificial diets containing the mixture of both sodium silicate and chlorpyrifos for 2 days, and then, the larval mortality was measured.
