Plasma was sampled after two meals in healthy adults, ages 20–70 years. with BMI 19–32 kg/m2; APOE3 homozygotes, N = 142; APOE3/4 heterozygotes, N = 65. After fasting overnight, subjects received breakfast (49 g fat, t = 0) and lunch (29 g fat, 330 min), solid arrows. The APOE4 excess of plasma TG did not differ by age.
