Four weeks later, liver protein lysates and RNA were prepared and subjected to western blot analysis (cKO-HuR and cKO-GFP, n = 5) and real-time qPCR (cKO-HuR and cKO-GFP, n = 5) to determine the levels of proteins APOB-100 (B-100), APOB-48 (B48), CYCS, NDUFB6, UQCRB, and TUBB (a, b), as well as the levels of Apob mRNA (mRNA) and pre-mRNA (pre) (c), respectively.
